This rice variety known as ' Kala Bhat', originate from Chandrakona Road in the Garbeta block
of Kancha Got village, West Bengal. Typically the shelf life of this rice is 1 year; however due to
its organic production, it cannot be stored for extended period and should be exposed to
sunlight while avoiding moisture.
